An alternative modification after you run your opener you say...but wait, what if I get the wrong Ashley!? (her name)...then make a puppy face.
I can do this because I know how to be charming and cute, then serious when needed, so if it's congruent with your personality then it would help since it makes the opener more original cause it sounds too cliche as it is.
Now depending how she responds, you gotta use your natural game to react.
If she says, aww that would suck
PUA: yea but maybe she might be a really good cook...do you know how to cook? (BAM you got a conversation started and on your way to mid game).
I like food, so in my case it would be a good response cause I'm talking about something that actually interests me, aka I will be bringing her into my frame, I will have the knowledge and the confidence of the topic and thus things will flow more naturally and I can tease her on things like she seems like the type to over cook things or make a mess experimenting with recipes. You can also tell her your favourite breakfast dish and tell her to make sure she remembers and not to burn your eggs. This will make her laugh because it implies you will sleep together and it shows confidence.
I know I'm going into a lot of detail from something so simple but I want to lay it out to the newbies on how a natural conversation can start up when you're in a good vibe, relaxed and having fun. It becomes easy after a while. Just believe in yourself and keep practicing until it becomes natural.
