Hey guys.

So after deciding to keep my glasses (you could see the original topic in my profile) on, I went to the nightclub.

At first, I tried to look around to see who was attainable. Then I tried to do somewhat the following PUA AFC Adam Dance Floor Game (1 minute video).
A lot of guys were rejected when they started grinding from behind the girls but for some it worked like a charm.

Overall, it was a pretty bad experience. For many reasons..
  • - More guys than girls (strong competition)
    - A bit crowded
    - You need to be super good-looking or have bad boy rep, friends with the women, or extremely lucky
    - The ladies wanted to dance with their girlfriends most of the time
    - The event was a flop?
Any suggestions on what I should do the next time I go? My attire was clean cut/sharp look.

Are you in the UK, Ben? From reading posts on here, I get the feeling the clubs in America are a bit different to the ones here.

But over here, I personally don't get on very well with clubs as they're just far too noisey. I think you've got to rely almost exclusively on body language, as you're not going to get much said to her. Most of my success in clubs is either in smoking areas etc (I don't smoke, but go out with mates who do as it's the best place to actually talk to girls), or if it's a girl who is in my extended friend circle already. For example, most of the times I go out I go to predrinks at someone's house before hand where we all bring a long groups of people. So if I met a girl there, then you can do the talking side of things there, and it's then much easier to focus on the physical aspects alone when you're in a club.

It is doable to go into a club and chat up some total stranger, obviously, but you've got to have great body language or find an area of the club where you can talk slightly better. In my opinion.

Alright, I see what you mean and I live in Canada.

I wasn't very "dancy", mostly looking around bobbing my head to the music and once I see a group of girls I would start dancing near them.

I was sober when I came into the club but I had little approach anxiety.

Thanks for the response.

Would you suggest getting contact lenses or keeping the glasses (peacock?). I noticed there were also a few guys wearing eyeglasses but I didn't really see them dancing with any girls..

My dancing is woeful - but again it's a matter of self awareness. If you're self aware whilst dancing, it's not going to work out well lol. But if you don't care, then you can be an expert latin dancer, or you can be doing some goofy-ass "dad" dance moves, and you might be able to pull it off.

As for the glasses - I don't think it matters at all man. Whatever you feel better in. I'd make sure they were decent glasses (not looked at the original thread sorry!) but as you say, if you're confident in them then they can be a peacocking item if a bit quirky. If they're just normal glasses then again, fine as long as they look good on you! But if you'd feel more comfortable in contacts, then wear those. Why are you asking about the glasses/contacts situation? Is it because you're not confident wearing the glasses in a club? If that's the case, then go with the contacts - you don't need that nagging doubt in your head about whether the glasses are working or not if you're not sure!

I only started clubbing about 2-3 months ago, (i had no idea off this little gem of a community) but most guys go to a club to "pull" or pickup a girl, Now me personally think this is a shit way to go out as you set yourself up to fail. I see these guys on the dance floor scoping around like a meercat.. not even dancing or just bobbing (my mate does it, kinda annoys me), a dance floor is pretty self explanatory, IT IS FOR DANCING, not looking desperately for a girl to look at them, then saying " She's is interested, but i won't dance with her because her left eyebrow has one stray hair" They are making excuses not to approach... It seems they are just looking for validation that women do find them attractive.

If you fail to pickup a girl then many men will consider this a shit night out because they didn't "pull". I go out to have fun and Dance therefore it is a good night whatever.

My sole goal is not to pickup a woman. I have fun dancing, Appearing to not pay attention the the rest off the club(I'm very aware of everything around me), not caring how i look ( I don't THINK i look that bad :L ) Now when i do this girls start gravitating towards you because they see your having fun and want in on that fun. That's where you approach them, with a warm flirtatious smile, me personally then spins them around and pull them in. Like Adam does in his video, just not as violently, i don't want to give them whiplash. Then Escalate like crazy, then when your ready take her away from the dance floor and talk in a quieter area. If she doesn't dance with you smile and just continue dancing without a care in the world, It's her loss.

Keep the glasses, I don't wear or need glasses but i'd wear glasses, i think some styles enhance your look. I like these ones:

I think they make you look suave.

Try this YouTube Channel for club dance moves it you feel awkward:

Good Luck mate

first, you can rock glasses, get some that go with your style.

2nd, clubs are loud especially inside, so running "mystery method" is rough. But the loudness can be used to your advantage to kino right from the start. But one thing you will need to do is project your voice.

Open from the side or position yourself right next to target right when you open. Run opener, and when she respond, act like you can't hear her even when you can. Communicate you don't know what she said, then grab her by her lower back and pull her in close to you when she speaks. Let her go when she is done talking, and project your voice again. Just repeat this and you will slowly start to build sexual comfort between you two. It should get to a point slowly where this stop and your just holding her. Just move her from here or escalate.

Important thing is, don't be the one leaning in. Be alpha and bring her closer to you. Remember, is her fault you can't hear her speak. I have gotten girl asking to make out with me this way.

Also, look around and see other guys opening, there actually leaning in when girls be talking. Lowering there value.

Well said guys. Thanks for the responses.

@7000
Awesome man. I think I might experiment once I get my hands on some contacts.

@PUA Hopeful
I actually watched those club dance for men videos before I went. Really helpful!
I know what you mean about the mindset of "Let's have FUN!!" instead of "I'm gonna get laid tonight", it helps.

The glasses I have is rectangular like this http://media.uxcell.com/uxcell/images/i ... 5_ux_c.jpg

@0uch
Sweet. I'll try that next time!

Lose the glasses.

Go out with friends. Go out to have fun. Go out to give fun to people. Don't go out to find girls who you can take something from.

No, it was a real life lesson. Not another night where you're in the comfort of your house.

More guys than girls (strong competition)
This is how average guys rationalize. This is stupid argument. As long as there are girls you would like to meet, you are good to go. Watch how you use language. Competition. Don't compete with other guys. Compete with yourself.

A bit crowded
That's great. It means more girls to practice.

What you need to do is stand out. The easiest way to this is with your clothes.

They want to dance with their female friends when some loser hits on them. When they meet interesting guy they want to talk to him, dance with him, fuck him...

Go out as soon as you can.

@Defy
I was pretty sure there was more guys than girls, trust me. I'd say there were about 40 guys and 15 girls? Anyway, thanks for the suggestions.

@0uch
Haha, you think so? Would you say a nice dress shirt, dark blue jeans, and nice shoes would go with them (that's what I wore last night)?

Just curious, is there a particular type of girl that approaches you because of your glasses?
