Yesterday I was texting this girl asking for her advice on something when she said "if you want we can go for a drink or something sometime and I can talk you through how to do it all?" It took me by surprise coz initially this was just a friendly text - so i responded and said "yeah drink sounds good when are you free?" her response was "I'm free tomorrow, thursday or friday. I'm flexible " I left it for a few hours and responded telling her that I am not available this week but can we do it next week. I sent that at 5.30pm last night and I still haven't heard anything back. What should I do? I am new to this site and picking up women isn't really my strong point so any help would be great.

Just leave it and find another girl. If she was THAT into you, you would have heard back. Go about your life, find something else to do. That doesn't exactly sound like a date. However, if you do hear back since it's 1v1 running game should be easy, but you want to lay the groundwork now. Try to be a little more playful and irreverent in your text's. Say something like:

"Yikes, can't this week, kinda sort of got to help save the world from Charlie Sheen, but I might squeeze you in Thursday" ---just an example

Also use proper English. Nothing is more DLV than this weird semi-intelligible text language. Intelligence is an indication of strong genetic integrity and dhv.

Thanks! I completely agree with you about 'text language' its a huge turn off! She got in touch with me a couple of hours ago and we got it sorted. She also said "oh if your not doing anything on saturday night we are all going out for my birthday, your welcome to come xx" What is the best way to respond to this without sounding like I have nothing better to do? The problem I have is the first initial stages of meeting up with a girl, once I get to know them better I am fine. I am also out of practice due to coming out of a 2 year relationship.

I would just say something like: "I'll see about going, got some shenanigans that night to take care of first! What time is the party?"--just an example, fit it to your taste and personality.

Then whatever time and place she gives you for the party just show up an hour late or something.

Well, this sounds like something you have under control.

Don't think too much, there are chances that you might ruin it. Enjoy your time together.

Also, contrary to what people might believe, women actually value punctuality. Don't want to be the guy who came late for the big date now, do you? It's important that you set a great first impression.

This is true, I calibrate on the girl. Some I am a dick and show up late, some I show up early, depends on the girl
