We Put The Word "Hey" In Front Of Everything. To Begin Face to Face, Text Message, Or Facebook Conversations. The word Is A Filler Similar To Saying "Like" Or "um" All The Time While Speaking. How Much More Confident Would Anything You Say Sound If You Simply Drop The "Hey"?

"Whats Up?!"
"What Are You Guys Doing Later?"
"Do I Know You?"
"I Need Some Advice"

Think About Why We Say "Hey", Is It Really Us Saying Hi?, Or Is It Us Being Nervous To Get To The Point, Or To Use A Line, So We Say "Hey" Subconsciously To Delay Or Mask The Fear Of Opening. I Believe "Hey" Should Be Thrown Out Of Every Pua's Vocabulary As We Strive To Perfect The Game.

It's a formality of the English language and culture, you always need a greeting. It would be too direct and catch the person off guard (when said as an opener),because you would normally say "hey" and then pause...then say your message. It allows the person to be engaged before you tell them whatever you wanted to say. It's like an attention grabber.

On another note: Any sensible person should never use lol and just replace it with haha, because it's more believable.

Fair point you make, though I tend not to use 'Hey' where I'm from (North West UK), usually gets substituted for 'Alright' - that's if I use it at all.

Well You have to get their attention first instead of just jumping right to the case as a creep.
