Would you rather have a 1% success rate with women or not approach at all?

Just wondering cause Barney Stinson from How I met your mother has about a 1% success rate, yet he's still awesome.

If never take a shot, you'll never know what you missed. And yes, I prefer to have 1% success rate than 0.

BTW, where did you see that Barney have only 1%, he is legen...wait for it...dary! It's probably arround 30-50%.

You purposely declare yourself as a non-existant entity.

Now instead of looking for EXTERNAL ( tangible) RESULTS, things like ' Did I kissed-closed, did I get the number close, did I seal the deal', look for INTERNAL IMPROVEMENT ' Was I more relaxed? Am I enjoying myself better? Am I improving my communication skills'

What you guys refer as INNER GAME.
This is what you should look for, before looking at anything.
Seeking validation from ' OUTTER GAME' or from TANGIBLE RESULTS can be quite depressing especially when you're just starting the game.

So don't look for them. Build long lasting confidence which must be independant from your results.

OK, I don't watch TV much. If Barney Stinson is the name of an actor and he claims he has a 1% rate it is probably BS; one of those, I'm just like the common man facades. If Barney Stinson is the name of a character of the show, then it's fiction there is nothing to base his numbers on.

Personally, If a 1% approach rate was certain--I mean like a low of physics. Then I would approach 99 ugos and fatties, then the 100th women would be a super-model.

I mean seriously, if all you get is 1% make it the best 1% around.

You should know that he's a fictional character, his method/routines mostly doesn't work, it was purely for creating humor. However, his attitude, mindset and picking up philosophy are legit, if you adapt those into your game , you will undoubtedly improve significantly.
