| So i'm re-starting my PUA life. Before I got a girlfriend I used to be pretty good at picking up girls (house parties, social events etc.). I was able to go from the Open to the number close without a problem... however now, (two years with a girlfriend) I realize that I have completely lost all my game. :O suffering from One-itis for 2 years has made me forget the art of the Pick-up.
When I was able to run game I was limiting to groups of girls of a specific ethnic origin. I am Goan (Indian) and as a result have a good skill at picking up girls of similar origin but to be honest they are not my type. I can't stand them!! They're attitude, they're "nesting" qualities. MAN!! it just grinds my gears. Now call me what you like, but I have lived in a North American society for my entire life and have in a way been convinced that members of one ethnicity are attracted to member of the same ethnicity and with the random exceptions.
Understandably, if there is no attraction (bad game, B.O., bad breath), it is easy to blame it on other things, however, after some recent field experiences I have come to this statement: in dancefloor\nightclub\bar game, woman are attracted to a similar ethnicity, if it doesn't match, there is already an uncontrollable obstacle in the way.
Now some may argue that "looks" have nothing to do with seduction and attraction, this is proven through the great PUA's deliberate big and crazy styles and peacocks. But what about ethnicity and racial stereotypes?
I know my routines, patterns, and lines work because the girl has interest, stays in the conversation and occasionally (though i need to refine the skill) gives me their number, but I honestly feel that I am missing something. This has been bothering me for the past few weeks when all materials (David DeAngelo, Ross Jefferies, Juggler, Carlos Xuma and even the great Mystery method) are being used and are keeping her interested but I can't seem to go any further. PLEASE Brothers of the art... lend me your thoughts!!
Sincerely,
Chavier _________________ "Hi may I ask you a quick question?"
