When approaching, make sure you do it over your shoulder. Walking up to her face and opening can be intimidating.
I had 1 girl say, shortly after I opened, "Is this a pick up line?" I lied and said no. I should've teased her about it... but w/e, it was a good night.
When your doing this, you have on a big fuzzy black hat too, right?
After your opener, don't forget to "lock her in" with that pink boa your probably wearing.

The opener is fine, I've used it when I first started... the thing that bothered me was the whole: "do it walking backwards over the shoulder"-thing... that's just stupid haha
really, if you saw a friend of yours would you go over the shoulder? No, you would walk up to her, give her a hug, 3 kisses, whatever..... I think it would be better if you did that and then go: "omg, this is embarrassing, you look just like her.. equally cute
