Guys like me who commute to school since they are unable to afford dorms, does that mean they have slim chances of gaming in college?

reading conquer your campus made it seem like its all social to get girls, I commute since I am unable to afford a dorm and dont want to take a $3500 loan each semester and since I dont live on campus I dont have alot of friends around.(not alot of social proof)

What can I do? It seems like commuters dont have any luck

im a sophomore with 2 yrs left
