(Apologies if this has been asked & answered, I searched but didn't find anything.)

So I read The Game. It was insightful, and gives a good idea of the big picture, while inspiring confidence. But it doesn't tell you what to DO.

Then I went after David Deangelo's Double your Dating, but again, that tells you how to think, but not what to DO.

So I still find myself talking to a girl and not being able to think of what I should say next, or seeing a girl and not being able to think of an opener. I go home and think about what opener I should have used, but I still can't think of anything.

I need something that will give me a better idea of how to construct openers and continue conversation, or at least give me a good selection of canned material to practice with.

So, what should I read next?

Mystery Method?
Juggler's method?
Ross Jeffries's Speed Seduction?
Fast Seduction 101 (fastseduction.com)? - Someone I met at a bar recommended this, but it's almost 10 years old now, is it still good?

MM and Rules of the game?

I read the MM and it's very very in depth. The Rules Of The Game is (apparently) like 'The Game' but gives you more examples of lines etc. I'm not sure if anyone can confirm that as I have yet to read it.

i bought a book by mystery called the pickup artist: the new and improved art of seduction. havent really read it yet, i mostly skimmed, but from what i can tell it breaks everything down to the basics. definitely should be on your bookshelf

I was put off by MM because it states at the very beginning that it's not a beginner's guide (something like "If you cannot get girls already, this is not for you").. Should I listen to that?

i would go ahead and take a look at it. i mean, your not going to memorize the book anyways. read, or skim it, and walk away with some general concepts.

I wouldnt really go for 'Rules of the Game', if youre interested in theory. One half of the book is challenges the other half just stories.

Look up ''the Venusian arts'' by Mystery and his other pick up book. Some of it is outdated, but still worth the read.

And one book that isnt part of the PUA that i would highly advise you read. Read all the Sherlock Holmes books and short stories.

Theres about 4 books and 70/75 short stories. Reading them will force you to think, improve your deduction and improvisational power as well as just increasing your standard of education.
