Well most of the people here would not agree but this is a strategy game , which is something like chess but more fun . We need to use our brains to get laid and thats what pick up artists do (i am a afc but i just got a phone number of a girl and i am on my way to puadom) . So every move we make has a positive or negative impact on the target and in order to gauge that we need a unit of measure . A unit of measure to measure social impact and to use that data for more effective and better sarging . So this is what i have come up with ( this is rough because i myself don't know much )

Positive impact sigh = +

Negative impact sign = -

neutral = 0

So assuming we have a positive impact on a girl of lets say 4 points than the index would turn to 4 but if you we have a negetive impact on a target of 4 than the index goes to - 4 . I myself don't know what would have what effect but people who know could help me and than we can have unit of measure in pick up

IOIs and IODs? maybe if you're into strategy you should read up microcalibration by mystery.
The basics are that there are 4 types of communication in any convo:
IOI
IOD
DHV
DLV
and there's a way to react to any of these 4 - so you basicaly just need to identify where to catogarize what a girl just said/did and you know how to respond
Don't remember the details but if she gives you an IOD you DHV for eg.

Pick is not an exact science nor maths, and i don't like to see it that way. But the Mystery Method tells us that after you've got 3 IOI's, thay you should phase shift (escalate).

Well my aim is not to capture the method into mathamatical terms but the response of women . Pu is not a science but has lots of strategy involved and that could be captured by measuring what i call social impact .

well this would be difficult to measure and thats why we should only measure reaction of the target

IOIs and IODs are reactions of the target and in my opinion IOIs are countable so are IODs.
But i don't think that measuring them is helpful it's more helpful to be well calibrated - knowing how to react to a certain situation. Microcalibration is a model to give us an idea on how to react in any given moment because any given moment can be broken down to one of these four reactions by the target.
Though maybe i misunderstood the your idea :s
