I read The Game by Neil Strauss, I've watched tons of PUA videos by Mystery and I've lurked these forums for a while now and I think I've gained a decent amount of knowledge throughout the process.

Nonetheless, the information seems very unstructured and messy in my head.
I would much appreciate if someone created a list of things to do when approaching a woman. Something like this:

1. Find
2. Open
3. ...
4. ...

Don't follow the Mystery Method camp. Please.

Why not? What's wrong with the mystery method?

Here is a basic structure you can follow. Of course you can modify it for different situations:

1. Find (you covered this one)
2. Approach
3. Ask a question or make a comment
4. Get her name
5. Ask for her number
6. Leave

Now I'll break it down in more detail to give you an idea of how it should flow.

1. You see an attractive woman walking, sitting, whatever
2. You walk over to her with a friendly smile
3. See below:

YOU: "Hi, I'm trying to find an SPAM. Do you know this area?"

HER: "Yes, no, maybe so" (what she says here really doesn't matter... its just an opener to get her talking to you.

YOU: "Thanks for your help. By the way I really like your hair, its very pretty. OR I really like your style, its very different. OR You're really cute".

4. "So whats your name?"

5. "Well, I really have to find this SPAM and grab some cash because I'm meeting some friends and I'm already late. I think we should grab a drink sometime. Whats your number?"

6. Walk away (with or without the number)

Thats as structured as I can make it. You will always experience wild cards in the field. Unexpected responses etc.

What's wrong with the Mystery Method?

Personally I like the Mystery Method. But the problem is it doesn't suit everyone's personality which is why I think some people have a problem with it. Last night it got me into trouble because I used the exact same neg on two girls, and when I used it the second time, the other girl was there, however I was pretty wasted by this point.

If you're just beginning, then the Mystery Method is perfect until you get your confidence up to start testing and running your own methods.

You'll want to neg your target depending how hot she is, saying something like "Is that your real hair colour?.. Oh, well its nice anyway" makes her feel a little insecure and it breaks rapport, you can then begin to build her back up again.
