For my first year at college I was "friends" with these two girls in order to get some social proof. It's worked out well, but now one of them(Girl A) likes me. The problem is that I'm starting to have a thing for the other girl (Girl B). This is a difficult situation as I'm pretty sure that Girl A has told B that she likes me, and so that means that B won't go out with me if I ask her. Whenever we hang out it's always the three of us together, but I do spend more time with Girl A as we do have classes together. I'm pretty sure I can't isolate Girl B or give her any IOI's as she will tell Girl A about it and will be a loyal friend. Is there anything I can do in this situation to get Girl A off of me which could free me up to have Girl B? I'm not going to see either of these girls until the Fall so I have time.

Friend zone A, keep after B. No one can help it if they have preferences. Just make sure that you LJBF A very carefully, because if you piss her off you will lose B.
