I've been working on my inner game and pickup skills for the last year. I think I'm finally getting somewhere, but there's still a lot I don't get when it comes to the way women behave.

A girl I've been dating for the last couple of months came to my house for the first time, two weeks ago. We ended up fooling around on the sofa for an hour or two, then talked for a while, before she said it was time for her to go. We didn't quite get as far as sex, just touching and stroking. She says she's a virgin, and never usually stays with a guy after the first or second date.

I assumed we'd go on dating, as before, and it would only be a matter of time before we ended up in bed. Unfortunately, she's started being evasive. She's taking longer to answer calls and texts than usual, and sometimes doesn't turn up when we're supposed to be chatting online. She says she likes me, though, and is interested in a relationship with me.

When I've asked her about going out, she said she's been very busy at work, and hasn't had much time off. She said she'd know her new shift pattern on Saturday, and would get in touch and arrange something for this week.

Well, she didn't get in touch, so I sent a general "how's it going?" text on Saturday evening. I got a reply later that night, with no mention of going out. Then I texted again yesterday, and we arranged to IM last night. She didn't show, so I texted once and tried to call, but didn't get an answer. Around midnight, she texted to say she'd fallen asleep. When I asked about arranging a date, she said she was really tired, and could we sort it out later?

I was pissed off, and didn't reply until this morning, just being pleasant and asked if she could let me know her free days, so we could get something sorted out soon. She didn't reply at all, which is unusual. She was posting lots of stuff on Facebook tonight, so she was definitely in. I decided it was best not to prompt her again.

It's been driving me crazy, but I suppose all I can do is wait now, even if it takes her a week to get back to me. Am I doing the right thing?

I don't really understand what's going on. On one hand, she might just not be that attracted to me, and is flaking rather than telling me. Although I did wonder whether this is a series of shit tests, before she decides whether she wants to sleep with me. Any thoughts on what's going on, or how I should respond?
