| This is a collection of all my approaches over 5 days in Madrid. (Note I don't speak spanish at all)
FIRST DAY:
HB7 and friend---Approached by going straight up and asking if they spoke english which they did, they were college girls touring just like we are. Stopped for a while and just vibed, no real routines just using cocky/funny and misinterpretation. They actually insta-date us by asking to go to dinner, which we do. At dinner I start busting out some routines along with my wing who's there to back me up all the time, a lot of improv actually, I just hit state and my wing was in state so it was awesome. Everything goes great and we get the phone number and invite to a club later that night. The logistics didn't work out to meet them later that night but made plans for later. Overall a really great set, went totally smoothly.
2nd DAY:
5 set--We were walking around the Prado museum and heard a group of 5 girls speaking english and bam, right away my wing opened them up with a smile and saying "English? YES!" and boom it was on. Vibed for a while on why we were in spain, where we're from etc. and I immediately suggested we "get cultured" together by walking around the museum as a group....I isolated 3 and he isolated 2 of them and we started using DHV spikes (a few negs, disqualifiers, take-aways) and things like that, but no real routines today......it was all just good vibes and improv game. I really enjoyed one time when my target was texting on her phone while i was in a story and I just snapped my fingers and was like "yo, ms. manners, i'm talking" and she immediately apologized and laughed/put her phone away. Great stuff. Worked out real well, got numbers and pictures but couldn't pull anybody because they were leaving in a few hours actually for Ireland as they're just touring around Europe. Awesome time, made the art museum so much more fun.
3rd DAY:
HB 7/6/Ugly Friend------We were walking around some cathedrals and palaces when we heard a group of 3 girls speaking english and once again, we pounced. It was my turn to open (we alternate between me and my wing) so I ran up and was like Hey you guys speak english, you're awesome! boom. opened. We again went through the regular motions of where we're from/what we're doing there at which point I took the opportunity to throw some cocky/funny lines in there and bust their balls. The problem was one of them really wanted to go home at that point (they were staying a half hour away by train, just visiting madrid) and we didn't really use everything we could've to make them stay, so we didn't insta-date or getting any numbers or anything. For some reason both me and my wing weren't feeling the interaction so we didn't bother furthering the interaction, just vibed for 10-15 minutes. We figured we'd just wait to meet another group that we'd connect with more/ with hotter girls.
That night, I approached 13 girls over the course of multiple sets---none of whom spoke english! And yet I still got a makeout! Here's how the night went:
2 set on the dance floor: Went up and started dancing with them, asked if they spoke english--one of them said they spoke a tiny bit but not much, so I tried to interact but it wasn't happening and I shook her hand and left. Her friend didn't even look over, whatev.
Another 2 set near the bar, same thing, went up and asked if they spoke english---totally blown out! Hand in the face, saying no english and turned away. Awesome!
1 set, exact same thing---Hables Engles? She says poquito, and we vibe quite a bit actually over our broken english/spanish. It was hilarious getting to know her and talk about how I liked Madrid and she liked california the one time she went to visit.....and finally I pulled out the one spanish line I know which is "I wish I could talk to you properly, you're absolutely beautiful" and she pulls me in and starts making out with me! AMAZING!
6 set!!!! Same thing (really can't do much else) started dancing near them and went up to one and asked if she spoke english--again blown out completely, but it was extremely weird, the 6 girls like, circled me and all of them kept saying no english no english and like waving their hands in my face extremely rudely----would've killed me anytime earlier but I seriously just didn't give a fuck anymore since I've been doing this for so long so I went complete funny on them and was like PORQUE?! PORQUE NO ENGLISH!? and they were just pissed off at me but I thought it was hilarious. Totally in state now!! I love being blown out, it's just funny!
Another 2 set before I left the club with my wing ( who was doing similar things and getting similar reactions) and they were nicer, just said they don't speak english and apologized since they couldn't talk with me. Whatev, good times.
4TH DAY:
1 set---Really quick tap on the shoulder, asked if she spoke english---she said no and turned away. Whatev.
2 set---Again tap tap, asked if they spoke english, they both understood a bit so we talked a little bit about touring madrid and how it was like back home, etc. and then me/my wing ended up getting a picture with them and kisses on the cheek.
2 set---Stopped them in the middle of the street on the way home, again no english so they just politely said that and kept walking. Awesome, gotta love the complete overcoming of approach anxiety. YES!
FINAL DAY:
HB7/HB5 Went to a nightclub with my wing and we opened a sitting two set who said they spoke some english and we sat down across from them and immediately I busted into the cocky/funny routine while my wing for some odd reason kept asking bland questions like "where are you from" "what do you do for work" and then suggested we sing karaoke which they were not into at all but he kept pushing it and I was like dude come on, back off, this is not a good thread right now wtf?! So then we took them around the club and got them to show us some stuff because one of them works there and I again started busting the hotter one's balls and apparently the other one wanted to hook up with my wing but he wasn't into it and was like nah they're not that hot, I don't want to, let's bounce. So because of that I had to leave too and was pretty upset about it actually......but ended up getting a number + facebook close/ kiss close from my target.
