Ye my post was indeed on the negative side, all Im saying is I wouldnt trust it necessarily as an IOI.

a girl friend of mine will receive a call from a guy that got her number a few nights prior...after the call (if shes not interested) she saves the number under 'do not answer'. she has plenty of these entries...

all im saying is that the girl may pre-emt this by saving your number under a 'do not answer' on the same night she met you. (before youve even had a chance to call)

A lot of girls give out their numbers to some real freaks purely to be 'polite'. my friend's behavior mentioned above is quite appropriate for cases like this.

but hey why not say he call me to make sure it works, and then i'll have your number?

This could go either way, but in some cases yes. Being in a relationship has helped with lose outcome dependency and this is a way I will usually go. Since I haven been in an LTR for the past 9 months I've learned how important it is to let go of any outcome dependence during a sarge. So I will go through all steps of the game (except seduction) and in comfort if I can't get a girls number (which rarely ever happens) I will give her mine and tell her to text me at X oclock to see how invested she really is in me. This has worked great for me, if you guys have any questions, let me know and I will be glad to help.
