To be fair different things work on different people, so some of these canned openers will work and some wont.

Personally I wouldnt use this one, but each to there own.

I must admit I do like the concept, but it looks like something you should completely re-write to fit how you yourself would say it to someone in reality.

I quite liked this, Role playing works for me.

Obviously she's not too into the whole role-playing thing. You can either not role-play anymore or try again by saying something witty like, "The whole divorce phase maneuvered me into a lifestyle rich in hard drugs and parties. You must be enjoying taking care of the kids. You can keep them. :]".
