First, I'm new to this and I suck at it.

How do I get over the anxiety of approaching? I'm sensitive to rejection (I know that makes me a pussy) and even therapy hasn't been able to help.

I'm never a shy person and I bask in attention but I can't seem to call that part of myself up when I want to approach women. On the rare occasions that I do, I freeze up and say awkward stupid shit like, "Did you know the yo-yo was originally invented as a weapon?" Or I start talking politics. I'm a really intelligent guy but I'm a dumb fuck when it comes to talking to women!

Any ideas? I'm willing to do what it takes.

theres a lot of things yu can do to overcome this anxiety.. and im sure lots of people wil reply to this message,

a few pointers i think will help yu..

create a new persona - if you call yourself ryan flowers and yu chat up a girl and she turns yu down. who cares, ryan flowers doesnt care !

have a name that is an instant convo starter... such as mine.. jude fox... to girls realising that is my name they wil instantly start singing the song 'hey jude!!' - to which i reply, iv never heard that song whos that.... they reply OMG and at that point they want to find out more about me.. its simple bt it works.

when i go out, i realise a good way to work on the game is to chat to everyone . dont just chat to hot people, chat to men, ugly girls and hot girls and adapt what works in interaction to your persona. - work yr way up to chatting to the HB's if yu need too

be interesting and completely natural and be kooky.

rely on context, theirs so many simple lines that can get yu into a set,
'wheres good to hang out in (insert city here)'
'will you take a photo of me and my friend?'
'i love your hair - its nearly as good as mine' (this is my favourite, simple but it works)
