I think of times where i hit on a random chick and got rejected and times i wanted a chick and didn't do anything. And not doing anything felt 100x worse then getting rejected. Usually when i get rejected i em so proud that i had the balls to ask a random stranger out that i completely ignore the rejection.

If you get rejected, you get to improve your game because you can review what just happened and figure out what you did wrong, and fix it the next time..
But if you don't do a thing, if you don't have the balls to make the first move, you will only be contributing to the increase of the fear of talking to women..

in the little black book by Neil Strauss. he says that anyone who wants to get socially adept should endeavour to "go out there and get as many rejections under his belt as possible"
I am the kinda shy guy who in a group is cowering away in case the focus of attention should land on me but in the last few weeks after numerous rejections and humiliating experiences, everyday situations now dont affect me half as much.
This alone has made the rejections worth it!!!
So, yes, rejection kicks the straw out of your self esteem. so after three blow offs you would probably not be feeling like George Clooney with the ladies but I suppose that as long as you try your best to learn from each blow off then the only way is "up"!!!!!
score today.
