Hey guys, who has some worth while, field tested opinion openers? I personally find them to be the best way to get a girl into a real conversation, that can then esculate to something more. The only problem is alot of the opinion openers I read on the boards are just lame. Lately, when I go out to bars with my friends I try and strike up debateable conversations amongst my group of male friends to get us into a genuine debate. from there on, your energy levels are legitamately high and its easy to stop a random girl walking past and say "hey! we need a mediator for a second... whats your opinion on this?".

Ive got this friend who lies to girls and says he's a virgin and claims it gets him laid because women want to be his first, I personally dont believe it works so we were debating it so I went upto a group of 10s and said "hey, I can only stay a minute but I need a females opinion on an argument my friends are having.... in a guy, what would you prefer? a man whos a virgin and has no experience at all, or a guy whos slept with alot of woman.... but says he's ready to change for you" and it got the girls arguing amongst themself which gave us easy openings to neg them and be like "hey hey, come on girls, stop trying to stall us so we stick around longer". Anyway the conclusion was most of the girls would prefer to be with the male slut who "says" he'll change. Oh and my buddy and I ended up getting the numbers of 2 of the girls

Anyway, who has some other good conversational topics like this that youve used in the field that actually worked? Im sick of hearing lame openers like "my sister wants to get her boyfriends name tatood on her" <---that just makes you look like a doosh.

The canned openers that you find googling away are great for practice, I will agree, but seriously, can't we all use a little originality. I will use opinion openers, especially ones about exes or ones that have a little innuendo built in, but usually I can draw them from real life. For me this helps because sometimes I actually get real answers and I am genuinely more interested when the shit is real.

Also, do you feel that opinion openers are better suited towards sets of 3 or more where you'll have different opinions and therefore more conversation?

I totally agree with you that opinion openers are much more likely to work if they come from a place that you can personally relate to and have a real opinion about that allows you to demonstrate some passion. People are attracted to those who come across as if their passionate about something so its a great way to demonstrate this. Rather than open with a story thats a complete lie, something that you dont give a shit about. Like really, if your sister was going to get her boyfriends name tattood on her arm youd want to beat the dude down regardless of what his name was. You wouldnt be out asking random girls what their opinion on it was, you just look weak and desperate.

I also agree that opinion openers are much better suited to group sets because it allows you to easily interact with the whole group and allows you to demonstrate leadership skills because your leading the entire group in this conversation. You just have to then lead onto getting your target alone which shouldnt be so hard if you managed to get the approval of her group through your initial leading of the groups conversation.

What Im trying to do at the moment is workshop fresh ideas for NYE. Things that Im generally interested in talking about with my group of friends to keep our night entertaining and things that we can easily involve with other random groups of girls. You have to keep these things A. Real and B. relatively simple and universal. I.E keep away from topics like religion and politics and topics that could upset people. But topics that will still promote a some what passionate and personally unique response from several people to make sure you get the group of girls debating... It can even help set you up with a girl if she's on your side and her girlfriends have a different opinion than you and her. It creates an "us against them" kind of game that can make you feel as if you have a bond when you dont even know each other.

It is customary to introduce yourself in the intro section before talking about busting nuts on "hoes faze."

Totally agreed...don't come on here talking wreckless like that. We are all on here trying to improve our game and we don't need people who aren't serious to cloud up the forum.

Now that thats out of the way...I view openers as an important but small part of game. You don't have to search for openers online all day, a genuine opinion or even direct statement will do. The goal is only to start the conversation before you transition.
