I’m confused.

Allow me to preface with this:

I’ve been playing the game for the past 9 mos. and I feel like I’ve mastered the topics. Kino, subtle negging, disinterest, DHVing, DLV avoidance, body language… I have internalized everything (I’ve read Magic Bullets, the Venutian Arts Handbook, The Game and seen VH1’s The Pickup Artist, Various Mystery and Style YouTube Videos.

This is NOT a case of one-itis. I have other women in my life. I just want to understand what happened here.

I was at a party a few weeks ago, ran my magic, ended up making out with 5 girls (separately), and exchanged numbers; all of which I didn’t even ask for – they just gave them to me.

Fast forward 1 week – one of the girls (HB8) I was actually interested in facebooked me, IMed me & called me often within that week. I showed disinterest and made her chase me – which she was blatantly doing (tons of IOIs). I gave her a few negs – it was going swimmingly.

She asked me to hang out with her. I went shopping with her Friday night, because “I had to pick up a present for my sister’s birthday anyways…” We got ice cream, I ran Kino, a couple more negs, DHV’d. We made out in the car again. I pulled out early and told her that’s all she’d get.

She then asked when she would see me again. I told her I was busy that week, but maybe later if she’s lucky “;)”

We spoke a several times between that date and our potential Date 2. I said “A bunch of my friends are going out Thursday around 6PM, you should come have some fun.” She told me she really wanted to but she’d have to get back to me.

Thursday night rolls by and I didn’t hear a peep from her. So I sent her a text saying I’d have to cancel because something came up.

What the hell went wrong – why the flake?

I love playing push and pull, but your game on this girl seems very push orientated.I like the chase, but you clearly had this girl several times jumping through hopes, but she probably got too tired as you explain later on when she starts ignoring you etc.

Keep trying, for the next date, but DON'T come off as needy. Any progress recently?

Really liked the fact that you text her and said you would have to cancel, brilliant, makes you out to have more important things on the go, hell maybe it made her chase you more?

So, here's the update:

I got home Friday at 3:30.

As soon as I log onto aim, she messages me as if nothing happened.

So I went with the flow as if nothing did happen - no problem.

We chitchat, I say I have to go because I just got back from the gym and need to shower. I leave for 15 min and come back - she asks what I'm doing that night.

To which I respond "A few of my friends are having a party, so I'm going to go make an appearance, then go out for dinner with my friend [Female]."

Later that night, I check my phone because I had accidentally put it on silent. She had called.

I didn't call back last night, or at all for that matter.

When I logged onto aim this morning, she IMed me saying "Thanks for picking up your phone last night... :/"

I did some C&F, and got some smiley faces from her.

I'll invite her out later this week.
