Gday Fellas,

Done a lot of sarging over the last few weeks with my two brothers in Seattle, Canada, Vegas and back in London… Have probably opened 150 sets…Here are some general things I’ve learnt:

1. The more fun you look like you’re having – the better! Everyone’s seen the chump predators who stand in the corner of the club staring at the girls. Do not do this! Be the life of the party! Say hi to everyone, ‘cheers’ people, do anything – just have a good time. If you look like you are having a great time, other people will want to be part of that fun!

2. Open whole sets of people that consist of girls AND guys! Often the hot girls are out with a mixed group but are still available! Open the whole group – befriend the guys – introduce yourself to them first – and it makes life a lot easier! Sets will blow wide open! Get a good wing to spend a few minutes disarming the guy while you sarge the girls in the group.

3. First few minutes – talk talk talk. After the opener, immediately go into a transition, tell stories, stack routines, multi-thread, whatever – just get her attention with something interesting that demonstrates HV. Once she is hooked, you can then let her talk!

4. False time constraints – both verbal and physical (walking away as you open her) are essential!

5. Don’t use lines out of the GAME – you WILL get busted! Although it is good for a laugh! – ‘did you see the fight outside’ / do you floss before or after? Great fun if you don’t care. But so many people have read this stuff now that it is mainstream! (My bro asked some girls in Canada whether they’d seen the fight outside, and the girl replied that he had asked her the same question two nights ago! For a laugh we asked her again an hour later!

6. Also, have at least 3 openers up your sleeve. Mix it up! Don’t ask everyone in the club the same opener – it will kill the vibe!

7. Remember – there’s no such thing as failure – just feedback…If a girl is not interested, don’t take it personally, just learn from the experience. It’s her loss.

Do you notice profound differences in the women (and the game you therefore use), in the different places you sarge in? Or would you say the women are all pretty much the same underneath it all, no matter how diverse the location?

Yeah, definite differences in different locations and you need to tailor your game to this. Some openers that can be brilliant in a bar will crash totally on a girl in a club... Just be aware of energy levels and that kind of stuff...
I have to say - English girls can be tough quite work... Especially the ones hanging out in Central London... they have massive barriers up...
I need to find some better sarging locations. Too many places I am going to have rubbish girls and the music is cranked up way too loud...

Are you saying that we should NOT use the main conventional lines ? is that what your SPAM is saying ?

anyway thank god I came up with a devestating opinion opener before a couple of days , and there is no way im going to share it with anyone .

That's exactly what I'm saying AVK - i reckon between 10-20% of girls out there (depending on where you live) have either read The Game or maybe read an article about it or watched The Pickup Artist...and as soon as they hear a canned opener they get very defensive!

And it even extends beyond lines from THE GAME - example:

In Tiger Tiger last week and there's some American girls by the bar:

Me: 'Hey girls, I have a quick question for you - what do you think about tattoos on guys? Because i've got this mate...'

Her: (cutting me off) 'i bet there is no tattoo, you just want to talk to us - you're trying to pick us up!'


I couldnt beleive it! I was shocked!

Anyway, the feedback to myself is that I need to make my openers seem more spontaneous...

I still believe in canned openers and the importance of knowing what you're gonna say so you dont stand there lurking trying to think of an opener because you come across as creepy, but the bottom line is that your material must be ORIGINAL and seem spontaneous!
