One solution would be to go to the areas where people know and live. One evening we go to Putney - or places near you Irish. The places you know and know we can game. Then somewhere elses area. I know when I play locally, in the places Im comfortable in, I have an awesome evening. Im sure this has enough energy to lift others.
I can understand your frustration with last night - there was no certainty or solid structure. And plenty of walking.
2 people can always stay over mine when we do Kingston. I know all the best places to go. And theres plenty of them, all in a short walk.
Im not trying to sell my area - Im suggesting we go to everyones area, different each week. If indeed the area is worth it

Just because we are going to central london that doesnt automatically guarantee high grade female mixed with comfortable venue.

I'm with you on that TonyT, I think if we keep momentum and keep refining this it'll certainly get better. I also think next time we should aim to start earlier.

Ed and I had a pretty good night in Cafe de Paris, though it was very loud. We both made some good approaches but, though it was difficult to hook in some of the more stuck-up sets, but we had a good time.

We should defo hit up others areas of London.

Clapham, Kingston, Camden, Putney etc all have loads of bars with decent girls. Furthermore, a lot of the girls tend to live locally, so it's easier to bounce with them back to a private party or whatever, as opposed to catching the nightbus home from central London.

Way too much f%cking around on Friday night! Less walking, more talking!
