| Offline | | MPUA Forum Enthusiast | Joined: Mon May 23, 2011 8:37 am Posts: 38 Location: Orlando Florida U.S. | | so i met this woman at a local bar Thursday night, it went well, number closed and all that and she really seemed to enjoy my company. so i gave it two days, and text her. asked her to join me out tonight at the same place she said maybe, i told her to let me know either way. so i was there with my buddy tonight, and she showed up after her company dinner with some guy, and barely talked to me. all though i don't think her and the guy are a couple, i made contact chatted for a minute or two and that was it. she seems shy, was it a diss, or was she waiting for me to initiate more contact?

secondly, i would advise you to always make a call instead of texting, especially the first time after a number close. not only does it convey more confidence, but you can feel out the situation from tonality, background noise....also easier to make some short small talk on the phone than trade txts back and forth
hard to give you the best response based on limited information. how long was she there for? was she not talking much at all, or just not to you? maybe she was tired or distracted. when you were talking to her, was she giving you short responses or was she just not continuing the conversation? how was her body language? were you seated next to, across from her, or what?
wait more than a couple days at least before trying again and if you dont connect, forget about her
