Yeah, I would get her something or take her out on a nice date. To me, it's just a question of manners (if you're serious about her) and being a gentleman.
As for what to get her - dude, that really depends on your budget. You can never go wrong with a nice, big bouquet and a special date. A girl once took me to a restaurant where everything was pitch black (you hand in your phones) and all the waiters was blind; I still remember that 2+ years later! A date can be better than a physical present.
What about the girl herself? What does she like? The best present is one that's wanted. My ex, 2 months into our relationship, was out in a mall with me. I saw a big 300$ vinyl toy and said: "if a girl gives this to me as a present, I just might have to marry her" as a joke. She actually went and got it for me 2 days later.. One of the most memorable presents in my life.
