I've read on how important Social Proof, value and Pre-selection can be, but I've never really experienced it first hand, at least, not without putting some work into building these up.

A few days ago, I was photographing a wedding of my mums friends, I'm an amateur photographer looking to get into photography and she asked me to do her wedding, I of course did it for free seeing as shes a close friend of the family, anyway..

During the wedding I did my thing, snapped pictures of everyone, then at the Reception I continued to do the same, however through the Reception I got talking to someone, and they were saying how the "girls" were all talking about me outside, saying how hot I was etc.. I consider myself to be fairly average looking, so it was a little unexpected.

Was this simply because I had value as a photographer, I was showing confidence walking up to people in the room and asking them to pose, I was also making the kids laugh so I could get some good shots.

I'm not used to women, in large groups at least, drooling over me.

I came away with 4 phone numbers, and I've set up three day 2's. The oldest of them being 28, I'm 19 haha!
