I was just wondering if there was a purpose for all the nicknames? It seems like a cool idea. Is it to get into character or something?

I think it goes with the idea of creating an avatar which is almost a superhuman version of the usual you. I think it helps you keep in the mindset of pickup and lose a few inhibitions.. If all else fails its a bit of fun

I got this when I was DJ'ing a party and this girl was enamored with the computer setup I had. I don't always call myself that, sometimes it just comes up though. I mean here you are obviously going to see nicknames because no one would use their full legal name on an online forum as a screen name. As for the mPUAs using nicknames? Well you could get a lot of opinions on that, but mine is that it is a marketing tool over anything else. Many PUAs that sell dvds, books, and seminars advertise that their skillsets and lessons can lead to any guy living a rock star life where you party every night and have weekly orgies. That fantasy is a lot easier to buy into with a guy named Mystery talking about it than John Smith.
