Has anyone of you guys made it from AFC to a good PUA? I'm curious on how you did it then, what materials did you use in the beginning? Maybe you guys could share a story or two about it?

I first started out as an AFC newbie years ago.

I was the super-romanic,poem and flowers type.

That obviously didnt get me laid.

I remember romancing a girl like an AFC by writing her love letter and sending her chocolate and teddy bear via her sister.

The HB9 later rejected my by returning the gifts,then later dating some looser/no-lifer bad-boy.

I could'nt comrehend what she seen in an asshole.

Frustrated,I google how to get girls.

Many AFC'ish sites popped up but I was fortunate to find sosuave.com and askmen.com.

Those 2 sites weren't exactly PU sites but they had great articles about being a badboy to attract girls.

Nowadays,those sites are total PU related with materials by top PUA's.

I soon after fount sites like Sargenation.com,becomeaplayer,seductiontuition,swingcats's blog,etc.

My life as a new man began.

100% of my knowledge came from online articles by top gurus like:Tyler Durden,Swingcat,Thundercat,Juggler,Sinn,Mystery,David Wygant,Mehow,etc.

I learned how to KINO from Vin Dicarlo's escalation ladder newsletter.

The 1st routine/opener I fell in love with was "girls outside fighting" by Mystery.

Also had major success with who lies more(by Mystery).

That was way before the VH1's Pick-Up Artist.

Lol I had a hard time remembering routines(cube,etc.)so I used to write them down on pieces of paper and tuck them in each pants poccet when I go to the club.

I was totally using canned materials then and I learnt from many gurus but Tyler Durden became my favorite.

Nowadays,I rarely use canned routines,I make my own or just use situational openers.

But I hate it when gurus or so-called naturals say,"routines are bad".

Bullshit!

Without canned routines,I would've never made it.

You cannot tell a newbie who doesnt have the know-how to create his own stuff and be natural.

As I gotten very good(over the course of years),I naturally had the witts to create my own routines and openers.

Now,I've had 3 PUA related blogs and I advise guys online via my own insights and common PU insights.

Thing is,after you get good at this over the years,you begin to shift focus from laying eveything walking to social gaming.

Im no longer running around the club looking for a one wolf to bang.

Over the past 2 years,I've been focused on social-circle gaming[thanks to Speer Method & AFC Adam].

Im more excited about working the room just to be social than trying to get # closes.

I will mailny only go for an F-Close only if I can bang her that night(SNL).

i was an AFC. nice guy. flowers, spending for everything and i remember people saying he's such a nice guy and all that.

then i read the game and a load of other articles. i started dressing better, built up confidence. learnt alot of routines. i've never looked back.

in the last 3 days i've got 4 numbers and 4 HB8+.

the reputation now has completely changed. women cant help but like you but bitch about you as a bad boy to their mates. its great lol

hey forcan I'm still an afc just started to get into this seiously like 4-5 months ago. Ever since then i noticed a HUGE improvement in my interactions with women I am a 21 year old virgin and i havent had a kiss in like 5 years. despite that i feel hopeful i'll get a gf soon. Routines, frames, kino are all just tools or techniques puas use for pickup. you don't have to learn them all but just pick and choose what best fits your personality. me for instance i am a pretty good conversationalist and i know alot of facts so i have no problem talking to women so i don't feel i need routines. I tend to study more kino and sexual escalation techniques cause thats where my problems are.
Although almost everyone starts with overcoming approach anxiety. That really is like the universal first step. So i suggest checking out the noob mission in approach and opening section of this forum. Just like k-loc said all the info is out there on the internet. you just have to find it and try what works for you.
