Do these same techniques work on someone you have known for awhile? Or do they already have you written off? What about just casual aquantances, like someone you see everyday at work, but doesn't know you outside of work?

These techniques work on just about every girl, however if they already have you in the friends zone, you will need to study some material on how to get out of the friends zone. Also if you use material on people who know you really well you might want to do it more subtly or else they'll notice the huge difference in character.
