I've dated female players, they are heartless cunts with souls as black as night and feed on attention like vampires. Run. LOL
You know you shouldn't stereotype people. Not everyone is the same.
Female players are human beings too, they have the same set of emotions which we do. Treat them as such.
Our friend M2 here has just had a bad experience. Don't listen to what he's saying. Emotional advice is the worst kind anyway.
You always give spot on advice Don, next time you're around my way I got to buy you a beer. BUT, in this case, my assessment stands. And I was only half joking with my over-the-top metaphor there.
However: Girl players tend to have severe Daddy issues. If you do end up in a LTR with them, they'll just keep doing what they do. If they don't control you with their flirty nature, they'll get you with jealousy, or, pity, or anger. Until she goes through a lot of consoling she will keep this pattern. The need for constant attention comes with a lot of baggage. If you do somehow survive round 1, you run a big risk of either friend zone, or one-itis, or both.
I hesitate to use a metaphor from both Star Trek and The Game, however, it is applicable.
" A scorpion was walking along the bank of a river, wondering how to get to the other side. Suddenly, he saw a fox. He asked the fox to take him on his back across the river.
The fox said, "No. If I do that, you'll sting me, and I'll drown."
The scorpion assured him, "If I do that, we'll both drown."
The fox thought about it and finally agreed. So the scorpion climbed up on his back, and the fox began to swim. But halfway across the river, the scorpion stung him. As poison filled his veins, the fox turned to the scorpion and said, "Why did you do that? Now you'll drown, too."
"I couldn't help it," said the scorpion. "It's my nature." "
