Are my chances of getting a girl reduced? Or do girls respect the nicer, less brazen dude?

Just read up on alpha body language and eye contact, speaking, keep trying it with friends for a few days and soon you'll be doing most of it naturally, just catch yourself when your doing beta things and correct it.
