Got a question: do you guys dress up or down for a date? I work in an office so I am normally business casual or above; and in a general sense, my style would be a sort of a nip/tuck look. However- on a date, I am not so sure....which would be DHV? Down or up? In the past I have just gone with a polo and khaki shorts, or if I am coming from work, business casual...either way, there is no definite answer and you really don't want to go over the top since that is AFC. You might as well bring fucking flowers at that point! LOL

I am 30, so I am going out with women who have MBA's or, even doctorates in some cases. Obviously going too casual is a bit of a turn off.

I take pride in my appearance and wouldn't see an issue with keeping it Biz or above....thoughts? comments? suggestions? For those of you scratching your head, Ill add two pictures to give an idea....unless it's cold out, I don't wear the sports coat.

As a side note: if you do work in an office and REALLY want to push it to the limit, check out the image below. That guy must get laid more than god.

I usually look like picture number 3...

Haha! Just kidding.

No, I go for Picture #1, sometimes don't tuck my shirt in either. But always business casual. I don't usually wear a blazer, unless it's a funky patterned blazer on top of a simple t-shirt.

I go for the tuck normally, and especially at work, kind of have to. Plus, it makes you look neater and cleaner.

Number 3 though---that guy has got pimp all over him.

I am going for time-traveler. He's got to be a post-apocalyptic business man.

you are on a date,
so peacocking is not necessary anymore.

Dress the way you feel comfortable, then you will show your self-confidence :0

In general, girls like men to dress well :)
