This project has been picked up (haha) by all the major studios at one point or another... they aren't sure that they actually want to make it. So lets help them make the right decision and DROP this project for the last time.

So this is what we are going to do: we are all going to declare that once the film is out we will do EVERYTHING we can to RUIN it's reputation. We will each spend 10 hours online writing terrible reviews of the film on IMDB, Yahoo Movies and every other film related website. We will convince all our friends and family not to watch it. We will seed torrents of the film on five different computers. We will get our hacker nerd PUA friends to hack ticketmaster.com and mark all the tickets as "sold out". (any other ideas???)

Lets put 5000 names on this thread and then email a link of it to these MGM executives. That would make them think twice before moving forward with it. Nobody wants to get on the bad side of an army of nerds and former nerds threatening with a negative marketing campaign mayhem

Wake up. The reason studios passed on it was because this stuff is too much to be put into movies plus, The Game is too old now. Everyone and their dogs have used those tricks, hence the rise of all the other dating gurus.

It doesn't matter because there are no secrets and there isn't anything special about this. Pua is about interacting with women and being social. How are they going to "give up Everything", if all we are doing is learning how to become better with women. Do you really think that all of the silly routines are the true secret of pua? They are meaningless. The secret of pua lies in the better understanding of women, sexuality, and social interaction. All the scripted stuff is just temporary filler. The power is in the knowledge. Plus I've seen the exact same thread as this posted hundreds of times in the last 3 years. You are not unique. Many guys have said the same thing with the same passion. And as soon as "chief" sees this, he will lock this thread, like he has locked so many others like it, because it is pointless to talk about it any further.

For all we know, the movie could do the community some good, if it gets made or not.

SPAM, most people who know very little about the whole idea of the game and pick-up instantly pre-suppose it all as 'negative' black magic. So this movie could possibly do the community good. It could portray the books good points about men trying to better themselves, instead of men trying to 'manipulate' women into their beds.

So really this film could help to bring forward peoples understanding of what the PUA community actually is....

Dude, I've f closed 3 girls in 3 days last week. By the time this movie comes out, I'm not going to give a shit. I'm thinking about all the newbies, the people who use canned openers (which I don't), etc. All the stuff that I use is 100% original and I wouldn't care less about it from a PERSONAL point of view. If it comes out and it's a big hit - girls will become more aware of the general idea that guys are approaching them with an agenda while doing everything they can to CONCEAL that agenda. Every time a guy will ask a girl "are you advantageous?" she will think "is this guy a PUA??". It will make the whole pick up scene obvious... it's hard to explain what I want to say...

basically - some things should just go by not talked about. It's like we don't tell a girl "come over to my place, I wannt to bang you" but "hey, come over to my place so I can show you that video I talked about". She knows whats going on, you know whats going on but we DO NOT TALK ABOUT IT.

Because he had the ultimate motivation - he knew he is going to make MILLIONS out of it. So all these people in the early days were going out, and figuring out all this stuff, and sharing info with each other out of love of their fellow men and their love to women, and then this guy was just going all around pretending to be a "nerd writer" when actually HE WAS WORKING FOR THE NEW YORK TIMES and hanging out with all kind of music stars etc (huge DHV by the way, if you wonder why he was so successful) and totally taking advantage of everything and everybody around him for one reason only:

That's an interesting point in my opinion, you could be right about style's ultimate motivation.

However a movie about PUA will never destroy PUA. The game is there and always will be, because IT HAS TO BE. It is simply a program we can create and run. Nothing can destroy it because it lives within society and has done for thousands and thousands of years....
