I have this hb10 on facebook but i havent really talked to her in a very effective way. so i was wondering how to open her and then get a date.

Opening on FB has been a tricky issue for me in the past. You can't claim you're just asking her a question out of convenience because she'll be wondering why you didn't ask anyone else, and she'll see right through it. You'll just be another AFC hitting on her, which she probably gets a lot of.

What works for me is to manipulate the workings of facebook to get something going that's somewhat similar to group theory. Let me explain:

On facebook, the likelihood of someone's online interactions and posts appearing on your news feed depends on how many interactions you have with him/her, and how many likes/comments the post has. If you're constantly talking to her and liking/commenting on her posts, her posts are going to appear frequently in your news feed (Not the other way round, unfortunately).

So what you need to do is essentially cut down on how many posts you make, and make sure that the ones you DO make (once a day at maximum, you need to look like you have a life), are funny and garner a lot of likes. Simply steal funny quotes of the internet if you're desperate. Then, you initiate interactions with the target by simply liking one of her status updates. Not the type where thousands of her friends like it (she won't even notice you), nor the kind where nobody likes it (who the hell is this guy?).

She'll be intrigued by the like. Your name will be embedded in her head. She may scroll through your wall and see what type of person you are (hence cutting down of the shit statuses). If lots of people like your updates, she'll think they're funny (social proof in action). She'll start to like them too. In this way, you will have initiated some form of relationship with her, without it coming across as forced or a deliberate attempt at hitting on her.

Once this has been going for a while, just talk to her in chat. Normal opener rules - you have to have something fairly interesting to say just to get the conversation going and not come off as a creep. She'll know who you are, she'll know quite a lot about your personality, so she'll be at ease. You will have successfully opened her.

If I might just add something though: it would be better if you had an actual reason to open that girl, such as her having commented on one of your status updates.

How do you draw her into commenting on one of your status? Well, if you know a bit about her, you might try some status messages that -you think- might directly appeal to her.

Alternatively, you might just try your luck and post a different status everyday (one which has been field tested and proven to generate lots of comments and discussions) untill she finally comments on one.
