Hey guys I'm going out next friday and plan to use the methods I've learnt on this site and other PUA material for the first time. I'm going to be out in a bar/club setting and just wondering for a guy who trying this out for the 1st time which method of approach would be better?
was thinking of either doing:

(a) go up to the bar getting a drink and start chatting to a girl buy introducing a magic trick of trying to read her mind by guessing the number, if I guess right I look good guess wrong and I can ask to hold her hand to get a better reading and add compliments such as "you hands are so soft/sexy there distracting me" same goes for her eyes) I may then ask her to show me something and if she has noting walk away and wait for her to come to me (bit risky tho in my mind but dont want to simply be an entertainer in her eyes), and when she comes back with something, I go for a kiss close, cant really think of another way tho that may lead me to a kiss close if I dont walk away, any suggestions?

(b)try and approach a group of people-Im not to confident with this method as yet tho but heres how I prob would go about it: approach the group ignore the girl I like, and talk to the rest, I'd like to think I'd use the line that I read about by saying to the girl you like "if I wasnt gay u'd be mine" but not sure if i could do it.. if i did then I would prob doing it quickly and encourage her to ask me what I said to make sure she heard right, then nag her a bit while directing my attention to the rest of the group ending in my stating I should be nice and talk to your friend (the girl I like), you've prob heard of this as its from Neil strauss the game. Is there any other skills I can use with this method to get good results?

or would the best friend routine work as well with a group of 6 or so or is it only good for a small group of 2 or 3?

also can anyone suggest any other openers that I could use?

as I said this will be my frist time trying any of these method in the field so any tips suggesting to help me would be great.

Hey, So I went out last night and didnt do well. I crash and burned if Im honest.

I went out it was a mates birthday in cork Ireland and there were many great looking girls. I was introduced to this one girl and talked to her for a while, she was close to me and kept rubbing up against me talking to me.

She invited me for a shot with the birthday mate. We talked for a while about being in the same job, she pointed out however that she had a boyfriend, but did it in a way like she was giving out about him, i.e she wanted to move to austraila but he didnt etc, she I decided to test the waters a bit so I said it sounds like ye have a great time tho, and ya that he was her best friend. I wasnt sure how to go from here, as ideally I didnt want to try and get a girl who already had a boyfriend and in the past I tried never to be that guy, but I wanted to try the things I've learnt.

We talked about work for a while but was getting depressing so I said lets talk about something more cheerful so I ran the 5 questions game ( ask her 5 questions and have her answer each wrong, which usually goes grand until u ask the last question and say what number was that, they usually say 4? the was the right answer but u laugh cos she was meant to say the wrong one, we laugh and move forward- credit to Style). I had practiced this a few times during the week with people in a non chating up way and it worked grand, however she didnt buy it, I asked the last question and she said "well the answers but it the last question so I'll say 5" I was like fuck!! but I tryed to keep it going by going clearly your smarter with some drink in ya ( she has earlier pointed out she had a good bit to drink).

Then after at least 20mins of talking she calls a mate over and completely phases me out, I took the hint and left to talk to other people.

I didnt try anything after as it didnt feel natural to approach and give an openinger to a ramdon group and that there were plenty of women in our group, plus I found as the night went on the fact that I was drinking didnt help me charm. I thinking maybe next time to drink way less if Im trying to get with a girl and do it early. As for girl open for suggestions ideas comments...

First thing, always remember to establish a false time constraint. Whenever I go sarging it's my best friend, because it allows you to not be a bother, and it also gives you an excuse to exit a set when you know you aren't doing very well. I'm sure you know all about it though.

Also for a) The higher the risk, the higher the reward. When you are willing to walk away from a set, and she follows, then you'll have her eating out of the palm of your hand because she will be trying to seduce YOU. Also if you decide to stay the best way to lead to a kiss close is escalating kino. You can't just keep making funny jokes, or making magic tricks if you don't show her your intentions through kino. Try this: when you exit a set, TELL your target you are going on a date with her (set up date and time), and then ask for a phone number in case something comes up. Then before leaving, do the french salute (which is a kiss on either cheek). Then stay very close to her face, and say "and one on the lips" with a very confident, sneaky smile. Almost always she will go for the kiss, and not the other way around.

For b) You have to be able to not care. The first times won't be as smooth as you want and you have to take rejections. Eventually you'll be able to work the routine as best as you can.
