It is the first what people see.

But:
- It is NOT TRUE that hansome guys can hook up with every girl they want;
- It is NOT TRUE that an ugly guy can not hook up with every girl he wants

An ugly guy will need to put more effort in his game. He will be tested more by girls.
Girls will be more non-responsive to ugly guys or put them in the friendszone. If you, ugly guy, do nothing, this will happen.

Luckily, you are taught in the PUA-skills and theories. This can help you gaming the girls you want, even you are ugly

Besides, girls don't have a common idea of what is goodlooking men.

It does matter, but not just your genetics. Looks matter because you have to look like you actually tried to shower that morning. Brush/comb your hair, iron out the wrinkles in your clothes, and throw on some deodorant. That matters

but if you get some nice clothes, do your hair up, take a shower, spritz some cologne on, and approach enough, have a game plan, some structure, and actually try to close

you will get laid, when it comes to getting laid, confidence, and a sense of humor are probably the two most important factors, just hang in there, be funny but don't be the entertainer, and no matter what go for the close and be persistent, do not go back on anything that would make you congruent to the pickup, always try to escalate the situation, and always try to close

Some girls don't really have a type and when you look at their history of boyfriends there seems to be absolutely no pattern. But other girls definitely have a pattern.

if you don't notice a pattern, consider their life at the time, what was missing from it, and what that boyfriend at the time provided for them to fill the void, you will most likely find a pattern

Pretty much the conclusion seems to be if you're good looking...
- Girls are more like to respond positively when opening.
- More likely to respond positively to escalation.
- You're less likely to get LMR.

Looks definitely help there's no doubt about it, but it doesn't give you an automatic pass into the pussy. An average looking PUA will pick-up more than a good looking AFC. I've known good looking guys who were pretty crap at picking up, guys who are 6'3 and built but still only fuck around 5 or 6 women a year, and I've met average looking guys that fuck more like 30-40 a year.

There's also dudes on this board that said they were some scrawny little bugger, hit the gym, got all built and shit, and only noticed a mild increase in their success with women. Then they got into game and saw a HUGE increase in the success.

Long story short, looks matter, but game is much more powerful than looks.

If it was 2 AFCs of equal caliber. One hot, one not.

The hotter obviously has more of a chance.

Same goes to PUAs.

I'm probably a 5/10 looks wise and i used to wing a bit with a guy who was probably a 9/10. We were both AFC's but my game was a slighty better than his, and I was surprised how often I could out manouver him. Overall he probably did a bit better than me but he wasn't streets ahead.
