| Look, I'm just now leaving high school and am heading out for college. In high school I was above average in the social scene for the most part, and was successful with women while IN school. However, going to parties for some reason I lost my mojo. Part of me thinks that loud parties aren't really my natural environment, but regardless my "natural game/success" that works for me so well during school doesn't continue over into these different scenes. This is why I looked and have become interested in PUA. I want my "weaker" attributes to be built up so that I can have success anywhere anytime.
One thing I've noticed while on the forum is that there is no general gameplan for new and curious members to latch onto. The forum is full of general "psychosocial" information (concerning confidence, character, mindset, etc.) and advice or directions for specific scenarios, however for a struggling newbie, I will admit that it's somewhat overwhelming. What's needed is a checklist for newbies to get the simple skeletal structure of a "set".
Now I know that sets and PUA in itself is never that simple. But what I find (and I believe a lot of other newbies will find) is that as you surf the sites and posts and forums, so much is said that much of it is either to vague or contradictory to even be of any real foundation for a new artist.
And so I'm asking you, the forum, to come up with a simple listing that newbies can memorize, vague enough that it can apply to MOST situations, but specific enough that newbies can memorize each step and try out infield.
Here's my attempt, and I encourage others to not simply critique the posted "plans" but submit their own.
Here goes nothing:
1. Approach and open the target (either indirect or direct depending on style)
2. Gain rapport (either with the group or with the individual target you're opening on, ie, find similarities, ask opinions)
3. Make comments to show social confidence (This may be "negging" or other forms of letting her know your "judging her"
4. Repeat 2 and 3 until a strong interest is built between you and her.
5. Number close, kiss close, eject, (conclude the set).
Now no doubt, my newbie advice is sharply inadequate, but what that example is supposed to show is how ideally simple this structure should be, involving no more than 20 steps (20 is a reasonable amount of steps that a person can memorize). Obviously i came nowhere close to 20, but I still have much to learn. But notice how I didn't give any specific lines to say or specific points in time in which to [insert kino action here]. Please, submit your own, and be detailed and resourceful, but also efficient and not overwhelming.
