I tend to avoid mixed sets, because I don't know how to deal with the guys. If another guy enters my set, I'll try to make him feel self conscious by saying stuff like, you must be a really confident bloke to just go and talk to a stranger. You must be really funny or something. stuff like that. It puts social expectations on him But asside from that I'm not really sure how to deal with guys and mixed sets.

if just cold approach, assert frame control, win him over that is all the needs to be done, if he trys to physically dominate, frame him negatively for it, or as if he is qualifieing himself to you everytime he does something you don't like, you can ''deal'' with him that way,

or my personal favourite is don't ''deal'' with the amog's, just game your target and ignore CB, cut him out, isolate target, address him, be polite but not friendly, if he persists in being rude, eventually he will look bad, just stay polite, accept what he does and ignore, continue gaming as if he doesn't exist

Befriend them, tell them how cool/awesome they are, or compliment them on what they are wearing etc., make them feel good .. surefire to diffuse the AMOG.

Okay. So basically. Be a Noble Gas. Be completely nonreactive.

If he tries to talk to her. Don't listen to him keep your attention on the girl.

If you start giving the guy your attention, your basically saying "Oh your so much better than me".

Don't bother befriending him. He's not your friend, he invaded your set.

Don't react to any of his tooling. You don't care about anything he says.

You basically ignore him. Don't interrupt him, just ignore him. Pick up where you left off with your girl. If you handled it okay, it's just you and the girl and either he stands there like an idiot or he ejects.

I actually agree with TNPB. Befriend him but let him know you're involved in the set.

" Hey what's up! You seem like a really cool guy but I was just talking to ...... "

I've seen (and done) two approaches to take down an "AMOG" as you say, interfering with your set.

The first is to look at him like he's a pathetic piece of shit, bring out all the pity from inside you and project it at his face. That along with a look of disgust, boredom and irritation can either irritate the guy or make him feel conscious. Either way he won't be as "smooth" as he thought he would.

The second is to put him on the spot, hold the girl by the waist and say, "Oh! Look at this! A player! He's going to pick you up and blow your mind with his one line. Come on, man! We are waiting! "

That should totally wreck any self esteem he has (unless he actually does have that one line).

Depending on the situation.

If he is friendly, no need to put him down. Befriend him.

If he is being a dick, talk to the target. When he throws insult, say "cool man" change thread and continue talking to the target. (Credit Mystery). It works nicely. Important thing to keep in mind is you have to maintain your state. Watch his state drop and become reactive.

If it's a random guy moving in on your girl, acknowledge him. Be friendly to him. Tease the target (dont neg). Something like "This is my EX, currently, the 2nd best fluffer employed at the studio. Come by and check her out sometimes, she is awesome at her job."

In other words....stroke his ego!

If the guy is being a total dick, I think it's quite easy to catch the girls eye and give the, a look that says "this guys a dick" then you have that moment where you bask together in his douchy aura
