We are both serious runners and we talked about running for about 10mins, but then I had to go to the bathroom and somehow lost her. I would really like to meet her again. What's the best way of doing that? Should I add her on facebook and then invite her for a run? Or is this too needy since we only talked for such a short time? Do you think it's a good idea to ask her for a run?

OK, so I decided to add her. Nothing to loose, really. How can I best invite her for a run. Was thinking of writing something like:

Hey XYZ, sorry I didn't talk to you more yesterday but somehow I got caught in a discussion with some friends. We should chat more. Btw, I'm always looking for people to run with, so give me a shout when you're up for an easy run next week.

Go with what Kirin said... Your version is too "Mr. Nice Guy" and she'll plop you in the friend zone in no time. Unless you wanna listen to your girl chat you up about somebody else banging her, you'll wanna change your approach to something more alpha.

Say hello again and that you're going running with some friends on (pick a day or a few days) then tell her she should come along. By the way, it's not your fault if your friends "couldn't make it," or "chose another route."

pumpington, what exactly do you mean by "open her, banter"? I'm pretty much an AFC so I would appreciate suggestions. The thing is that this girl seems to be rather shy and reserved, so I probably can't push it too far.

yea dude, if you only spoke about running there was no attraction being created there. That was strickly friendship talk that happens with anyone that shares the same interest. And dont by the whole shy and reserved thing. Women respond to you, so basically your the shy and reserved one. Begin a chat on facebook with something like "think you can kick my ass in a race?"... That'll hook her and begin and emotional conversation. After that convo, pull her phone number and give her a call at a time u wanna go run.
