I've been doing the PUA for awhile now with pretty good success, however, the girl I am talking to right now is a bit of trip. I posted previously how she NEVER initiates contact, but responds in seconds to anything I send. That said: (and maybe I just have my care face on) I have given her two very slight IOI's in the form of compliments and didnt get a damn thing in response, it's very strange.

Ill post a recent interaction (we're going out tomorrow, was going to call her with the details tonight) About her, very busy, very active social life, very sarcastic, and lots of Alpha traits.

Me: I am gonna call about 7ish tonight. Gotta fight a T-Rex at 8. Cool?
Her: That T-rex has no idea what he's in for. Can we talk earlier? Like 5? Promised Dad I would do dinner. (possible IOI)
Me: Another man?! I want a divorce, lol, 530 would be better. T-rex...yeah, apparently Im a "Cave man in a button up" according to my friend Amy.
Her: I will give you the divorce as soon as you want I just get the house and boat. I'm willing to give up the kids. And 5:27 would be better for me
Me: 5:27? Meeting a time traveler.. sorry (nick name I gave her) and no kids, you're the Mom, you do something with them. lol, as much crap as I give you...I will say I do have fun w/ you. (Not a huge compliment but none-the-less)
Her. Haha I will try to answer at 5:30...no promises lol
Me: Going to lunch we'll talk tonight at 5:29. Lol ttyl babe
Her: Ok

Thoughts? Comments? WTF? Maybe I should just grow a pair and stop caring again. Should I even expect reciprocation?

Never give a compliment expecting one.

You obviously have a good style and it works. Make her want to compliment you. Don't reward her for something she hasn't done yet.

Reverse the roles. Make her wonder why you didn't reciprocate.

Good advice. I did kind of ignore her T-Rex thing (if you can call it an IOI). I think I need to just take off my care face and grow a pair. It's honestly like going toe to toe with another PUA! Kind of got me slightly off kilter.

It's no mystery the nice guy finishes last when regarding spontaneous pickup, or the majority of picking up women anyway.

Also, I'd caution too much contact in text. Too impersonal and who knows what she could be linking to your texts. (Like anchoring a touch, your name is being anchored when it pops up. Most the time she's just in an everyday setting so it gets bland). Make her get that excited feeling when she sees your name. Make it a rare treat.

Give her cliffhanger texts (just stop talking). She will create that emotion of missing you and wanting to be with you all on her own. Ya know, checking your phone even though you know it hasn't beeped, we've all done it haha.

I generally try to pull this or eject really early. I don't have time to keep typing, plus I have man sized hands and phones are made for that!

I did just stop talking for like 2 or 3 days and now, EVERYTHING I send gets a near immediate response. Kind of nice.

The nice guy bull shit? No thanks...I am already kind of dick, and RARELY if ever give compliments to anyone, however, I was trying to send over a few IOI. Too cool for school all the time can get old to a chick, you got to let her know she's winning every once in awhile. However, in this case, perhaps it was more a matter of my own expectations not matching the result.

That last comment says it.

It creates an unrest and question yourself. That's really all you gotta do with her.
