I'm just wondering, since PUA works out for most of us, girls are absolutely against all "players" and "playboys". Is this just bullshit they are trying to get around or are some genuinely against these "players". I'm sure you guys heard it all before.

Few girls are turned on by the idea of being with a player. They are usually the ones that are mainly concerned with social status, and see this as a way to boost that.

Most girls, though, just want to feel special. A player, then, doesn't provide that, because if he's been with other girls, she must not be the sole center of his life. She's not THAT special. Honestly I don't think anyone can be that special, but that's what Hollywood has trained women to think. That's why women don't like self-proclaimed players. At the same time, though, a lot of the Game, is just showing these girls that they are special, hence leaving them better of than when you found them".

Simple. Women don't want to be labeled as easy by hooking up with a "player".

The term "player" doesn't just mean a confident guy who is good with women.

It has a connotation of dishonesty. The player is dating 5 different women and tells each of them he is committed to them and is truly in love. The player lies to women about his name, status, past, etc and will do whatever it takes in order to sleep with a girl. He only wants sex for his own physical pleasure and disregards the desires of the women he meets.

That's why its bad, and honestly part of it is the draconian stance on sex that permeates the world. We still believe that sex is some sort of magical event that should only be had between deeply committed partners in monogamous relationships. It CAN be that, and from a philosophical standpoint that may be the best form of sex, but hell if we would all slut up a bit it would make life a hell of a lot simpler. You wanna sleep with her as an expression of love? Cool, I'm gonna go nail this chick in the bathroom stall of the bar, and that's fine too.

Not only women and even men, they even make up stories like "don't go out with him once his done with you, you're just another trash" etc. it's really a pure cockblock and even when you just met her (she knows you cause you got this player reputation) she's gonna give you a lot of shit test.. just be prepared..
