Ok so I went out this weekend to a party. I am part of a fraternal organization and we had a meeting and afterwards a party. A new girl showed up to the meeting with a guy from out of town and she was fricking HOT. The guy... they didn't seem to be together but you got the vibe that they used to date. He was here visiting her from out of town. So I go to where the party is happening as it was in a different location and they are there. Now I was gaming this other girl and she wound up having to leave about 230 in the morning. Now this guy and girl are getting a tad cuddly on the couch the whole time. I get up and go sit on the couch. I don't think of gaming her at all cause this guy is a brother and he's going to be leaving town soon and she is going to be around to have my fun with later.

Well I start talking about a lecture I am going to give on social psychology at a future meeting and she shoots up and just blocks him out. I think she was looking for an opening to start actually talking to me and she was raving about how much she loves psychology and sociology and asking if she can attend this lecture. Then asks me to go for a walk with them as the host of the party and the two of them are taking a walk down to the beach here in Cleveland. I am like sure, get my shoes and hat and head out the door behind her, look up to say something and dude... TOTALLY steps in front of her and smiles at me!!! I don't let this affect my sentence, I look at him and grin as I talk.

We start walking and she is just shutting him down to talk to me. Eventually we are about 50 yards from the other two just talking and building a rapport. My friend tells me that he keeps hopping to the front and watching her to make sure nothing is happening. My friend, the host... he really thought it looked like she and I were dtf from the way she shut him down after I started talking to her.

We get to the beach and he is just acting like a 5 year old, really trying to get her attention, jumping in her face and I am AMOGing him left and right. I am talking to her about stuff, explaining things I am referencing and he is saying things like "yeah, I know" and I ignore him the first few times and the final time I look at him and say "yeah, I know you know but SHE doesn't and I am explaining it for HER benefit poindexter". At one point we are sitting on a log when she and this guy get out of the water and he sits down on the beach and makes a spot for her and she comes around and sits beside me instead even though there is plenty of room by my friend. I can see the other guy's discomfort though, and I was trying to get in her pants this night, like I said, he is leaving town and she started noticing him I think being out of sorts because she backed off a bit.

So they leave the beach and I look at my friend and I say "I would so fuck her" and he says "dude, I would too" and I said "no, I revise that... I will fuck her" and that was when he told me he thought that was the way it was looking...

SO my question is this... I backed off on this this time and he is going to still be here this weekend when I see her again. I don't want to get into the friend zone but I want to be careful. He came to town to visit her and he is a brother in this organization. He got here and CLAIMS his wallet was stolen when he got here... I know that gambit, I've seen it used by his type before but I have to by my obligations, maintain some decorum because he is obviously not alright with this... I want to keep my door open to get with this chick... any suggestions on how to handle Saturday?
