I am interested in hanging out (possibly more) with a girl that I work with. We have been out after work four or five times (dinner, comedy show, etc.) in the last month. Each time, it went really well, though we haven't crossed the "friend zone" line...other than light teasing. Also, I would say that she only accepts offers to go out about 40% of the time.

I asked her over text message (on Saturday) if she would like to check out a movie on Sunday. She replied..."Sorry, cant ..I have plans...but have fun".

BTW...As far as how into me might be: she constantly twirls her hair, laughs at stupid jokes, and occasionally accepts offers to go out...but not much more than that.

The next time I see her....should I:
--Ignore the rejection text message and keep on pursuing?
--Forget about her and move onto another gal
--Other

Thanks!

Dude!! If what you say that she constantly twirls her hair, laughs at your stew pit jokes. Ignore the rejection message and keep on persuing dude. And btw, you and me both know that she should not be 'the only one' and so there should be no reason why you should not be considering other possibilities as well.

For all you know, she might be genuinely busy.

Thanks for the quick reply, TheAspiredOne...

I think the reason I was put off by the text message today was the way she stated it:
"Sorry, I have plans, have fun". There was not mention of ...hey can I have a rain check.... Also, I never told her what time I was hoping to meet up. Just that I would like to meet up on Sunday. Seems that if someone were interested then they would at least ask what time you are planning on going out!!

Thanks!

PS. I hope that is not against PUA code (to be on the "hunt" while still involved in a relationship)...but I am currently in a not so good LTR...though I am working on an exit strategy. The gal that I am flirting with at work knows this, though we never talk about it...Thus a huge monkey in the room when it comes to taking it to the next level.
