I was out with my wing in lounge type cafe. Decided to approach a two-set(one HB, only UG). As always UG was more active, asking me lots of questions( although I did not let her lead the conversation most of the time), while the HB was quiet, a little shy, but nice. Long story short, I have several questions and would really appreciate your input.
1. I did not ask my wing to join me because they looked tired and I felt they would not agree to go to a club, so I just arranged a day two and said that I should go back to my friend(I used a false time constraint in the beginning). Should I have stayed with them all the way until they left in order to have used the time to build more attraction/comfort to avoid flaking?
2. When I suggested swapping numbers, the UG was first to give me her number. The HB would have given her number as well, but I didn't want to push it to not be cock blocked by the UG. This seems to a huge problem for me. What should I do in these sorts of situations?
THANKS
ok the past is the past we cant change what you did in this interaction, the only thing we can do is learn from this.
Go for what you want. If you want HB's number go for her number why would you go after a girl's number that you are not interested in? i would only go after the friends number as a ultimatum. if she was uncomfortable giving hers and maybe suggest to hang out with both of them at once.
IMO introducing the wing is completely unnecessary in this situation. From what i get your wing didnt come into set with you in which case doesnt need a intro.
If i were in your situation i would go direct on the HB thru the friend. Had to say your friend is absolutely adorable. Screen the Hb while keeping the friend involved. and go for the #close you want.
Dont be a wuss. Go for what you want. they might say no but some will say yes. If you get a no, change the subject and try again.
