Me and my ex gf were together for 3 years, we both were our first time and first love, the whole nine.
We broke up cause i left to go to university, we broke up on good terms due to distance. She was a wreck, crying her eyes out every night to me on the phone. I wasnt that sad, its my first year at college cmon... But now im over the whole single thing and actually starting to miss her, its been 5 months and we spoke over the phone weekly until recently. She now has a new bf rebound dude that she actually likes (i think).
Next year she is actually moving to where i study cause she is studying nearby, so i thought we'd wait till then, then get back together. But this new bf is kinda getting in the way.
Any tips on what i should do? no newb stuff, this girl is super smart.
thanks.

knowing what i know now with what happened to my ex, I would let her date the guy she thinks she likes and give her space. no she doesn't actually like him, even if she says she does. let her do her thing, and shell be thinking about you the entire time i swear. if you start acting like you want her back just because she has a new guy, you will be going back on your own actions of breaking up with her. keep a strong frame of mind. you guys broke up so you can enjoy college. she prolly will like this guy for a little bit, realize hes nothing like you and come crawling back. the LAST thing you want is to start acting needy with her now.

If she is interested she'll come back to you.
Give her her space. If she's as smart as you say she is, she won't like your interference in her affairs regarding her relationship. _________________ " You're born alone and you die alone and this world just drops a bunch of rules on top of you to make you forget those facts.
