Typically this is true for girls you're not-so-serious with and just keeping it more casual but also girls actually love when guys take the time to talk on the phone with them for a good decent of time. It's a necessary skill for when your in a relationship too. Once things ever start getting serious with you and a girl, she's going to expect you this so be prepared.
