I'm not really technically sound in PUA, but I use the basic guidelines. Anyway, I have a tricky situation and I don't know the best way to go about getting the girl's number.

I went out to eat with my parents one night, and I noticed an unbelievably cute hostess. We made eye contact briefly and she gave me a smile. She wasn't the hostess that seated us to eat so we had no interaction with her.

I normally don't have the balls to do this, but I want to go back and get her number.

What is the best approach? I am kind of clueless as to how I should proceed. I'd appreciate any help/advice.

Of course there are exceptions.....but
Hostesses are hired guns. They are hired to give you the feeling that you are special. Don't fall for it.

Obviously they are hired guns, but I would have wanted to get her number regardless of whether she smiled at me. She is exactly my type. I am going to make a go at it, I'd just prefer to get some specific advice. I am definitely an above average looking guy, and I am tall (6'2"), so I have that going for me.

I definitely agree with that. Proceed with caution. But they're first and foremost women, regardless of occupation. Just be aware.
