I seem to have a problem approaching woman on campus.

This isnt necessarily because i am shy when speaking to woman, but its more the fact that i find it quite awkward approaching a girl on campus. The reason being is because i think its quite weird trying to 'pick up' girls on campus as most of them are actually there to study so they will think a guy approaching them would come off as being totally weird.

I dont have a problem when it comes to speaking to girls in any of my classes, but the problem comes in when i dont have any association with a girl (eg: no same classes, no mutual friends).

Any ideas?

imo it's not wierd, cause campus is an open enviroment, however i personally don't do approaches on my faculty (very closed enviroment btw) cause if i fuck up, profesor might sees it she gets disgusting and then bam, i got my grade for the semester fucked up cause of that.
So keep an eye on that, other than this it's ok imo.

I think it'd depend on how big the school was. If its a state school with like 10,000 people, then yeah, go for it. No one will remember it. But if it's like 2000 kids, then probably not, cuz you always do risk that creepiness factor. The last thing you need is girls telling each other about that "creepo" who keeps approaching and hitting on them. That may be negative social proof in the long run.
