There is this new girl at work who I only started speaking to a few days ago. Straight away we got on well and I was also getting some IOI’s, such as I mentioned in my earlier post when-a-girls-says-iyou-look-like-troublei-vt94944.html.

She also intimated twice about going out for drinks. First, in an email exchange she put “I owe u a pint!”, where I responded “u certainly do!” but then as she was going home she just replied “see u tomorrow!”. Secondly, she wanted me to teach her something for work and made a jokey remark about doing the teaching over a drink.

I genuinely do feel a bit “chemistry” there which I haven’t felt in a long time, despite the fact I’ve talked to numerous girls that I’ve gone on with. It’s because of this why I’m hesitant and don’t want to mess it up with her.

In a social situation, like out of work during the day or at a club, I would attempt to number close or kiss close. However, as it’s at work I’m unsure how to proceed. I don’t want to seem too forward and needy as this would turn her off.

So, I’m not sure about how to play it from here?

And what to say to move things forward?

Should I bring up the subject of drinks out of the blue “so when are u going to buy me that drink?” etc, or should I wait for her to intimate something like that again and then try and continue it from there.

Invite her out for a drink, simple as that.

Yep I will. Think I’ll go with something more assertive/confident like “so when are you going to buy me that drink?” as opposed to the “would you like to etc?”.
