Using roadtrip to get this girl

I got friendzoned with a girl. Next week I will go on a one-day roadtrip to another town with her and a few others. Is there a way for me to use this trip, during which I will have many opportunities to talk to her, to get out of the friendzone?
Since there are other people we both know, I guess I can't progress too much, but maybe there is a way to use this trip to get me "on the right track".
By the way, I'm a total AFC, so I really appreciate any advice you can give me.
