Okay so where i live, most of the HB's i see, are in someway connected to people I already know, if we are talking on facebook, im talking 20 mutual friends minimum, I need to maintain my social proof, and don't wish to be cast as that weird lad who came and sat next to me on the train?

Now you are probably thinking im being naive? your probably right, but im only 19? getting blown out of the water and her telling my mutual friends about it would destroy my ego and image?

When im going out on the town, drinking its far different, i can open and talk to my hearts content with alcohol in the back burner, it is more socially acceptable?

So tell me? What do I do?

Open with "you look familiar, are you friends with xxxxxxx." If she says yes, you already building rapport right off your opener. If is no, you can still keep gaming by saying "I though you were cute, just wanted to say hi."
